Alumni Careers - National Research Flagships program to support up to 30 PhD scholarships
THE National Research Flagships program is an initiative of CSIRO, designed to bring together large multidisciplinary teams to focus on Australia's major challenges and opportunities.
Some of the flagships are: Climate Adaptation, Energy Transformed, Food Futures and Preventative Health. Each year, the Flagship Collaboration Fund supports postgraduate (PhD) scholarships for students co-supervised by researchers in an Australian university and CSIRO, and working on a project relevant to one of the Flagships. In 2009/10, the Fund will support up to 30 new scholarships.
