Calling alumni who want to build a sustainable future!
ALUMNI who want to play a role in creating a sustainable future are invited to join forces with the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute (MSSI) at the University of Melbourne.
The MSSI is striving to build a network of alumni who are interested in contributing to societal change by highlighting key sustainability issues.
The MSSI is a research institute that brings together people working in research, the public sector and industry to solve pressing issues of our time. It acts as an information portal and platform to launch large, multi-faceted research projects to find solutions to issues such as climate change, population growth, resource depletion and inequities in wealth and health.
Regardless of which faculty you graduated from, the MSSI would like to hear from you if you are an alumnus who is interested in:
• Developing a strategic relationship with MSSI; or
• You wish to stay up to date with the latest news and events related to sustainability research at the University of Melbourne
Those who express interest will be invited to join a discussion over coffee in Carlton in early March 2010, where alumni can find out more about the different ways they can get involved and share their areas of interest.
Please get in touch by emailing mssi-enquiries@unimelb.edu.au or contacting MSSI Director, Professor Craig Pearson, or Executive Officer, Dr Annie Bolitho, on +61 3 9035 8235.
