The Asialink Chairman’s Circle is a select group of visionary business, government and community leaders. Committed to the further development of Australia’s interests and engagement in Asia, Chairman’s Circle donors support Asialink’s mission and programs significantly through annual tax-deductible donations.
Asialink strives to give every Australian the chance to be Asia-wise and build a community of successful Asia-engaged people and businesses. We also aim to have Asian languages and studies feature prominently in all Australian schools and to grow an expanding regional network of leaders from across all sectors with the skills to address global challenges.
The Chairman’s Circle helps us reach these targets.
Donations to Asialink of $1000 and above will provide access to the Chairman’s Circle and The University’s Chancellor’s Circle.
Funds generated from the Chairman’s Circle have:
- brought together 130 leaders at the Asialink National Forum to successfully build bi-partisan support for effective Asia-Australia engagement.
- given young Australian and Indonesian school students a means to learn about each other and create powerful friendships.
- assisted our Asia-Australia Mental Health program to support children in extreme stress in Cambodia.
- expanded our Arts program to take Australian artists, writers and musicians and their work to new audiences across Asia.
We recognise our generous benefactors with invitations on occasion to special events by Asialink, at The University of Melbourne, and national and international events.
