Asialink

Korea Strategy Meetings and Tours 2009

With core support of the Australia-Korea Foundation, Asialink initiated and organised three meetings and tours of Korea in late 2009 of Australian Visual Arts, Literature and Performing Arts people, specifically to discuss future collaborative strategies.  As part of this, the visiting Australians also met many Korean colleagues and visited organisations, further gaining knowledge of the country’s arts and increasing networks and relationships.  The visits ranged from 3 to 7 days, with detailed itineraries.

These art form specific meetings and tours followed the Wave Korea Wave Forum in mid 2009 in Melbourne, where speakers from Korea had also initiated cross-media discussions of general issues for future debate.
