In this interview, the ‘father of the Green Revolution’ in India, Professor M.S. Swaminathan introduces his most recent visit to Australia and discusses India-Australia environmental partnerships.

Professor Swaminathan is founder and Chairman of the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation and a Member of Rajya Sabha (Upper House), Parliament of India.

 He has been acclaimed by TIME magazine as one of the 20 most influential Asians of the 20th century—and one of only three from India, the other two being Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore.
