The Action and Reference Guide of Changes Affecting Students is a guide to the changes which affect students, arising from the implementation of the new student system. The Action and Reference Guide of Changes Affecting Students aims to:
- Provide a concise summary of each change;
- Draw staff attention to action necessary to ensure a smooth transition for students;
- Serve as cumulative, single point of reference that is easily searchable, up to date, and accessible to all staff at any time throughout the Project.
The Guide is not designed to replace training and detailed documentation on the new student system or on new or changed processes or policies.
The Guide is posted on this web page (ssp.unimelb.edu.au/notices/) which is accessible from computers on the University network only.
Staff will be informed of major changes and additions to the Guide as appropriate. Memos and notices are the primary mechanism for alerting managers to a change, and each will point to the Guide in each case.
